I spent the last days in Bangkok straying through the city. My favorite way of exploring was by using the chao phraya express boats, where you can see the quiet side of Bangkok. Especially when you head further to the north of the river...
The ride itself is quite cheap and you can spend hours driving into on direction while admiring the finger nail file skills of the boat driver...
Somebody told me, that these long nails mean that you don´t have to work hard or on a field for earning money. Don´t know if it´s true. :-)
At the end of my one month trip, I found myself in the middle of a traffic jungle...
...where the streets are stuffed with people.
When the sun goes down and it´s getting slightly "colder" it´s time to eat. It felt like everybody rushes out of their houses at the same time to grab something to munch. I spent so much time lingering around between the different food stands. Oh dammit, I love the Thai food so much...
One of my favorite spots in Bangkok was and still is the rooftop bar of the River View Guest House. You don´t have to be dressed fancy, the food is not expensive and the place is so relaxing. That´s where I took the following pictures...
You can also go to a fancy rooftop bar, where you may have a better view but it´s definitely not a place to stay for a long time in my opinion... but yes, the sundown there is amazing and the skyline as well...
Another place where you go once and for sure not a second time is the grand palace. You may guess why... yes it´s unbelievable crowded by tourists... like me :-)... but still beautiful. Through the jungle of selfie sticks I managed to take the following pictures...
If you ever get the chance to see Bangkok: don´t be too shy, most of the people are so kind and like to exchange experiences and stories. So...
Thank you to all the amazing people I met on my journey. Would not have been half that good without you. Here are some of them...
